TECHNOLOGY
Radiologist technicians, also known as
radiographers, are allied health care professionals
responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such
as X-ray examinations, MR scans and CT scans
etc.
The Main duties of a radiologic Technician
/Radiographers include taking X rays, MRI
scans,Flurospies, Mammograms, CT scans and other radiologic
diagnostic imaging procedures,work closely with
Physicians,producing x-ray films or radiographs,preparing
patients for their procedures by removing jewelry
and other items that disort x-rays, explaining the procedures
to the patient, positioning the patient,Preventing unnecessary
radiation exposure to themselves.
The Job prospects are excellent, and predicted
to grow faster than the average job.
